One Delta County : An Economic Alliance Gathers to Celebrate Successes and Look Forward 🚀
One Delta County: An Economic Alliance (ODC) hosted a highly successful meeting on November 14, 2025, at The Grove in Delta, bringing together community leaders, business owners, and engaged citizens. Over 75 guests were in attendance, enjoying a fantastic prime rib dinner catered by Cassie Bees at The Grove.
The meeting was opened by One Delta Board Vice President, Kent Blackwell (DMEA/Elevate), who set a tone of collaboration and forward momentum.

The evening featured several distinguished speakers who provided updates and insights into Delta County’s economy :

One Delta Director, Greg Pope provided a comprehensive overview of the Alliance’s work. One Delta’s Board of Directors would like to extend a heartfelt thank you and best wishes to Greg Pope upon his upcoming retirement. Greg has been instrumental in building and establishing One Delta County: An Economic Alliance and has made a significant impact on economic development for Delta County. Pope lead a presentation giving attendees updates on One Delta’s current and historic achievements over the past five years. Colorado Senator Marc Catlin (Colorado Senate District 5) discussed last year’s critical efforts to save the Delta Correctional Facility from closure—a testament to the power of community advocacy.

Bill Hellman of Hellman Motors was recognized. After 70 years as a family-owned and operated business in Delta County, Hellman Motor Company has been sold to Vista Ford & Toyota of Delta.

Jeremy Lehrman, General Manager of Vista Ford & Toyota of Delta, spoke about the transition and their future in the community.
