Delta County’s labor market has made a full recovery from the depths of the COVID-19 shutdowns in the spring of 2020, according to the latest economic recent report by Dr. Nathan Perry, associate professor of economics at Colorado Mesa University. According to Perry, the county’s labor market rose from COVID-19 lows in April 2020 and surpassed the October 2019 high water mark (14,503). The high points were experienced during May (14,542) and June (14,532); however, numbers dipped a bit in August (14,243).
