Quick & Efficient ~ Wild & Beautiful
Cross-town commutes in all of our towns are less than 10 minutes. Traveling on our four-lane highways is at 65 miles per hour and the only time you have to slow down is if wildlife crosses the highway in front of you.
As you can see in the photo, traffic jams in Delta County are very unique! Travel our two-lane highways at the posted speed limit, and the only time you have to reduce speed is to pull over to a roadside fruit stand or take a picture of the spectacular scenery.
Delta County includes six towns, each of which is beautiful and unique. Commuting plays an important role in the economy as not all workers choose to live where they work.
The Commuting diagram identifies three groups of people:
- People who work in Delta County, but live elsewhere.
- People who live in Delta County, but work elsewhere.
- People who live and work in Delta County.
